Sport Tracker Hub — Privacy Policy
Sport Tracker Hub is a mobile app for personal fitness tracking — including workout logging, body measurements, and training goals. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app.
For privacy-related questions, please use the contact email at the top of this page.
1) Information we process
- App & device: anonymous or pseudonymous app/installation identifiers, device model, OS version, app version, and technical data required to operate the app and connect to our services.
- Fitness data (local only): workout sessions (sport type, duration, distance), body measurements (weight, body fat, resting heart rate), and training goals are stored entirely on your device using a local database and are never sent to our servers.
- Crash & error reporting: when enabled in a build, Sentry processes error logs, stack traces, and basic device information to help us fix crashes.
- Support: if you contact us by email, we process your email address and message content to reply.
2) Why we use information
- To store your workout sessions, body data, and goals locally for personal fitness tracking.
- To detect and fix crashes and errors (Sentry).
- To comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
3) Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us operate the app (for example: hosting, and — in applicable builds — crash reporting). Sharing is limited to what each provider needs to perform their service, under their terms and our instructions.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or services.
4) How long we keep data
Fitness data (workouts, body records, goals) lives only on your device and is deleted when you clear app data, use the in-app "Clear All Data" function in the Profile screen, or uninstall the app.
Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request.
5) Data security
Your fitness data is stored in a local database on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not have access to this data.
When crash reporting is enabled in a build, error and device data is sent to Sentry under a data processing agreement. You can review Sentry's privacy practices at sentry.io/privacy.
6) Your rights and choices
Because all fitness data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete everything at any time using the "Clear All Data" option in the Profile screen.
Depending on where you live, you may also have additional rights (such as access, correction, or deletion of any data we hold on our end). To make a request, email us at the address above.
7) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will appear in the app with a revised effective date.
8) Virtual AI Coach
The app includes a "Virtual AI Coach" feature that provides general fitness guidance such as warm-ups, recovery tips, and sport-specific suggestions.
- How it works: Suggestions are generated by built-in scripts and rules on your device, using local workout context (for example: today's session count, total duration, and primary sport type).
- Data processing: This context is processed only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers for the AI Coach feature.
- Third-party AI: We do not currently send your coach conversations, prompts, or workout data to third-party generative AI or large language model (LLM) providers. If we introduce third-party AI in the future, we will update this policy, obtain your explicit in-app consent before any transmission, and update our App Store privacy labels.
- Conversation history: Coach messages are held temporarily in device memory during use and are not retained after you close the coach screen or the app (unless a future version states otherwise).
- Important: AI Coach content is for general fitness reference only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions or if you have health concerns or injuries.
9) Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you choose to connect Apple Health from the Health tab, the app may access health data through Apple's HealthKit framework, subject to the permissions you grant.
- Read (as permitted): steps, sleep, active energy, flights climbed, distance, and workouts recorded in Apple Health.
- Write (as permitted): workouts and body measurements that you log in this app.
- Purpose: to show today's overview, estimate calorie burn, sync workouts, and keep your fitness records consistent with Apple Health.
- We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or sale to third parties, and we do not send HealthKit data to third-party AI services.
- Health data is processed on your device through Apple's frameworks. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
